Again, not all presidents. |

The person who suggested the poll was flexible about the concept of presidents. Notice that he nominated Margaret Thatcher! |

I would not have done this just because one might think I don't know the difference. Leaders would have been a better term to use. I am not going to loose any sleep over it. |

I know it isn't PC but I do hope Jefferson Davis shows up in a future round (or did I miss him?). He was a badass during the Battle of Monterey, commanding the Mississippi Rifles. Was offered a battlefield commission to Brigadier General and yes he was an American President as was Sam Houston. |

Once again, the medieval King is clearly going to be able to beat the others in single combat as the poll specifies. Personal martial ability was a major feature of their lives. Against Richard one on one none of the others would stand a chance… |

Cerdic, don't discount Vlad, he had lots of personal weapons skill… and when it comes to terror, he's the best of this lot. |

Agree with Cedric and Narratio – both Richard and Vlad had a lot of experience putting their enemies on the business end of a pointed weapon! |

The problem with Richard and Vlad (and others) is that they will show up to a gunfight with a sword. My money is on Teddy R and his Winchester. And if it were fisticuffs, he was a lifelong boxer too. |
