Why two polls? The list does not seem all that long.

I wanna see more love for the Jacobite rebellions! This is a great period that has yet to be fully explored and exploited by enough gamers. You got your colorful armies, representing two diverse societies; you got your Age of Reason linear tactics PLUS a distinctly "Colonials" flavor with the Scottish clans; you got your eccentric personalities and unusual units; tricorns and wigs; tartans and bagpipes; bitter enmities and battlefield chivalry; classic mixed forces of infantry/cavalry/artillery but the emphasis on infantry allows armies to be built cheaper than the 18th century norm; ability to fight pitched battles (smaller scale than Europe but still major clashes) along with skirmish actions; and now, lots of new reference books, figures in multiple scales, and rules sets at your command. People who overlook this era are missing out on some fun!

If you like it and you don't have the Black Powder supplement Last Argument of Kings you should find a copy. It is great for that.

Yes, and the Beneath the Lily Banner rules allow for early-period Jacobite clashes. I am using a home-brewed variant on The Sword & the Flame rules myself (The Sword in the Heather).

Interesting options.
