Interesting. We have now--and this is not meant as a criticism--reached the point of complete subjectivity. Each of the top four is doing something so different from the other three that while you can certainly like one more than another, it's not possible to demonstrate that one is better than another, any more than you could prove that casting removal is better or worse than keeping rosters.

I'd quibble a little about Space Hulk. To me, it's a game while the others are rules. But not everyone concedes the distinction, and Ogre actually crossed the line, beginning as a game and becoming a set of rules. Certainly Space Hulk is a very good game. Not meant as a criticism there.

Great points – and I agree, Space Hulk is a game, not a rule set (good game, but a game)
