I never watched one, but that's largely because I expect they would bore me. |

Take my word for it. You're correct. 👍 |

Watched one, for a kit I was planning to buy. I think I gave it ten minutes before I gave up. In theory I suppose someone could make them interesting to watch. |

On very rare occasions I find them useful. Mostly the ones where womeone reviews the contents of an army pack or things like that. If it's just someone opening their latest mail order, Snooze… |

Some are better than others. I like Dan at We Wargame: YouTube link He does side by sides, scale comparisons, and kit bashes with other kits to test compatibility. It's not just a "ooh, what's in the box?" but a full detailed review of the bits enclosed. Rule flip-throughs, the equivalent of unboxing, however, are entirely worthless. |

I've watched some of about 3 of things that I was really interested in but have never completed a single one. Even in the background while I'm doing other more important things, which is how I watch most videos. |

I skip through them to find the actual bits I'm interested in, like what the heck is the actual figure size, and so on. But yeah, we'll call them booooriing. |

I selectively watch some featuring miniatures or other gaming products I am interested in. I fast forward through them to see the miniatures/items. The commentaries can be helpful if they give a run-down of quality issues they see with the items. Once I get what I need from them, I click away. Cheers! |

I rarely watch any video reviews of anything. I can read it faster than they can say it, so in most cases it's a waste of time. Post some photos, write some commentary, and I can absorb it as I like. The only video reviewer I've found I can appreciate is the guy who does The Dice Tower game reviews. He's brief enough and thorough enough and generally interesting. Here's a good rule of thumb: For a video review of a single product, you've got about 10 seconds to grab the viewer's interest, and five minutes or less to hit the highlights. Anything more starts to fall into boredom territory. Ideally, aim for the length of a hit radio song— three minutes, give or take. "If you're gonna have a hit, you gotta make it quick, so they cut it down to three-oh-five."— Billy Joel, I Am the Entertainer. |

I watch them very occasionally to get a look at what is in boxed sets. |

I have liked videos of the unboxing Military Rations and tasting of them but not any other unboxing videos. x42 |

If the unboxing is a part of "how to play" then I would watch it otherwise I don't watch unboxing. |
