For me, it is not a "slick maneuver" so much as it is an incredibly daring maneuver, which they think will result in my forces being annihilated. When I succeed, they are shocked, and abhor my gamble with my forces. I just smile, and move closer to victory. They still lament my crazy actions during the post-mortem discussion as we pick up the figures and terrain. I would say that my gaming friends are all pretty conservative, trying to achieve an overwhelming advantage before they strike. Not me. Does it always work for me? No… And they point that out to me, as well, during the post-mortem discussion. I reply that I am willing to risk it for the biscuit. They do not share my views. ;-) Cheers! |

Other: "Are your opponents ever shocked when you…achieve the objective?" Fixed that for me. |

They're shocked when I win. Usually I am too. |

As Solozzo said to Michael, "You think too much of me, kid. I'm not that clever." |

Every now and then I pull off a game winning slick tactical move Emphasis on the every now and then – more often than not it results in a catastrophic loss |
