One more time. Every presumption of the question is false to facts. (1) NO computer gaming space, because not computer games. (2) NO fixed miniatures gaming space. Boards requiring more or less space go in different places in the house. (3) I have to walk--sometimes as much as 15 feet, the horror, the horror!--to prepare food or obtain a cold drink during a game. And (4) I do not now own, nor have I ever owned, a hot plate.

It a wildly diverse hobby. I am always amazed at the number of miniature wargamers who assume that everyone else pursues it the way they do.

Having a hot plate near where one paints is – respectfully – a recipe for disaster
