If One Hour Skirmish is on your list of candidates I would suggest looking at Flying Lead as an Option. I was surprised to see that Bolt Action was not listed, not that I am a fan, but it is popular. |

A significant problem with the pre-discusssion of this topic is that the person planning to run the campaign didn't specify what level of command they wanted for the land campaign. A platoon vs battalion vs divsion level commands may all be good rules in general but not useful for the campaign. If a platoon level system works, Chain of Command with it's recent Far East supplement to provide additional support in the Pacific would be my choice. The Saipan 1944 psc campaign could provide lot more ideas and some ideas for how to adopt CoC to a more general campaign. |
