There's only one A-list actress on this list, and she's losing (winning?). You could argue Madonna was A list too I guess. |

Yeah, some not-really-what-I-was-thinking names got added; I suspect the hatred of "celebrity celebrities" took hold.
I don't consider Markle to be A-list anywhere but in her own head, though at least she is actually a decent actress (I only ever saw her in Suits, in which she managed to be both likable and unassuming… which appears definitely to have been acting on her part). But has she ever been an actual draw to a film or show based on her name and reputation as an actress? Bo Derek is marginal (nobody hired her for her acting talents), and Kim the Annoying AFAIK hasn't acted in anything, unless you count her entire life so far. Madonna fits the bill; she DID attempt to act and was meant to be a box-office draw when she did. But there the "A" ended and "C-" took over (and that's grading on a curve…) |

I think that, Madonna did rather well in Desperately Seeking Susan, but she was pretty much playing herself. |
