Interesting list – I have to say given what happened to some of these chaps perhaps serving under them might have been a dangerous thing! Colonel Burnaby had the good sense to i) die as a heroic Colonel and ii) do so saving the life of one of his troopers |

I'm the only one voting for the Candy Bomber? Any colonel who sends out parachutes with chocolate to kids is my favorite colonel by far. |
