I have a definite liking for the odd character any in unit/tribe and left handed is one way of doing it. so where I can do it easily I sometimes make a figure left handed. x42 |

I do have a few cack-handed Celts that go on the left-hand side of any base and/or formation. Ral Partha ? Otherwise all my figures are properly right-handed |

Given they beat the left handedness out of you in the old days. I'm sure most soldiers would fight right handed. In formation with some sort of shield wall, It was paramount to keep a good solid wall. If you try and load and shoot goofy in a close order formation of the horse and musket period, you'd screw up that formation too. So no I don't even contemplate adding lefties in my units (even tho I'm slightly lefthand my sldf) |

I only have one left-handed figure, a medieval figure painted as a religious order knight. I even gave him a "left-handed" name. Jim |

My family is a bit more than 10% since I have three brothers who are left handed and my youngest daughter probably would have been if her mom didn't force her to use her right hand. |

There are things I'll make a special effort for. This isn't one of them. Not as though there was a different musket drill for southpaws. Besides, I've always found lefties to be sinister people. |

Left handedness is really super recessive, both of my parent are/were left handed, neither of my sisters or myself are so 100% of parents led to 0% left handed. In addition to both of my parents my Mother in Law is also left handed, so 75% left handed grandparents, of my five children none are left handed. Neither are any cousins (12 potential left handers 0% are). I don't really see 10% but it is hard to argue with statistics. |
