I like the Scottish choices but when you compare Edinburgh Castle with Eilean Donan (having been to both) the guys running Eilean Donan have really let the place go |

THE Eilean Donan *on Loch Duich in Kintail!* Not any of those other ones! Glad that is clarified! But seriously, where's Caernarvon? Or Conway? And even the Alamo could be considered as an improvised fortification. |

How about the Atlantic Wall? And I was really disappointed with Edinburgh Castle. The grandstands just ruin it. |
