I'm saying other. At present it is zero. All my opponents now dead most of Covid with the last of old age last month. Before Covid it was several times a week and I hope to get up to that again x42 |

I went with one. It's actually between zero and one. Dead opponents. Opponents not fit to travel. Opponents who can't stay awake long enough even for a short game. But I never have gotten the hang of solo. |

It varies a lot from month to month, but the average for the year to today is a bit over two. |

Club meets every week. I usually go. Sometimes play a boardgame. Call it 3. |

1 to 2 but usually one with the group – so I picked one |

We have a schedule of every two weeks, someone puts on a game. |

A club game two to three time a month and an "old guys" Thursday afternoon game every week, so 6 to 8 depending on the number of Saturdays and Thursdays in a month averages to 7. Jim |

I answered, "Other." I am lucky if I get a true mini's game in each year. Life is too busy, and mini's games require a LOT of time to set up and run, for me. I am the primary host of fantasy games, supplying the lion's share of the figures, and terrain. I invite as many people as I can get, and this is typically around 8-10 bodies, besides me! I only play fantasy games, and the rare Army Men game. Neither is the top choice for most of my mini's gaming friends, so once a year, is their preference, and I have been failing to provide even that for the last few years. Still working, still have Life getting in the way of my fun. I've been doing exceptionally well in running my fantasy RPG games, however, so that keeps me happy (far less preparation required, fewer bodies, and schedules, to juggle). Cheers! |

I don't game monthly, but I do game multiple times a year. So that's not Zero, nor is it 1 or more. Poorly set up poll. |

Call it an average of 6. 2–3 game days a mont; DBA/DBN days are 2+ games per session. |

We have an historical miniature group that meets weekly at a member's home. I consider myself very lucky but the scythe of age and health looms. |

I'm between 0-2 per month at home. But my avareage goes way up if I factor in conventions. |

Zero, typically. Since I relocated to a new city, despite its rep as a gaming stronghold, I've had dismal luck rounding up players interested in miniatures or historical gaming. Apart from one or two new skirmish-rules test games with the wife, and a few games I put on or played in at some conventions, under half-dozen minis games in four years. Very depressing. Thousands of soldiers in various periods panting to do something. I have to hope for better things after an upcoming cross-country house move back toward the old stomping grounds (time TBD). |

Be of good cheer! SA is a hot bed of miniatures as well as the HQ of the LSHM. |
FusilierDan | 25 Nov 2024 4:44 p.m. PST |
I put down 2 it varies but that's about the average rounded down. |
piper909 | 26 Nov 2024 11:00 p.m. PST |
Yes, Shag, thanks for the boost! I have been consoling myself with these thoughts! When I said "half a dozen" above, that was an exaggeration, in terms of what I've set up and hosted. I shouldn't count playing in someone else's convention game or playtest. Really more like… two. One? In four years. Pathetic. |
