Other – this is great news for Airfix. Maybe they'll have another go at Robowars and relaunch Airfix Battles! Or borrow a trick from Zvezda and Italaeri and box up figures, kits, and scenery with a set of wargame rules! Encounter at Fort Sahara would be a good start! |

Ridley Scott has an upcoming movie called "Napoleon". If Warlord doesn't do a Movie-themed boxed set release i would be surprised and disappointed. Especially with Hornby involved. |

There doesn't seem to be a block for "I am completely uninterested." I didn't know who owned shares in Warlord Games last week. I still don't now who owns the other 75%. This is true of almost every company I buy things from. |

I am in the wait and see category. It has potential to go either way, but I am hopeful that everyone wins. |

Hornby seems to be trying to gather all the English hobby greats under one banner – Their acquisition of Humbrol Paints back from the French company Heller IIRC was a huge deal, as was the purchase of Lima and all the railway model assets that group had. Considering how the railway modelling hobby was the "sick man of miniatures" for some time ( Until the 3D printing revolution gave it a shot in the arm), their rise as a modelling conglomerate is a fascinating story. I honestly hope they continue to grow and encourage new blood into these hobbies, myself, and note that Airfix has gone from strength to strength recently after their becoming part of Hornby. |
