And if it is to be from 1455, I think we can ignore the Tudors, who only come into play after the main Lancastrian line is wiped out. |

If you accept the Lancastrian rule from 1399, then they were the legitimate rulers. Both Yorkist and Lancastrian were branches of the Plantagenets, and as has been pointed out, the Tudors didn't come into it until later. Anyone for the Mortimers ? |
