How could any of these be "misinterpreted@, with the exclusive exception of "On the origin of Species"? That, and only that, led to the moronic "Survival of the Fittest". That is not at all what Darwin wrote. Plainly, those who get to mate and produce offspring… produce offspring. Not the strongest. Not the fittest. Those who got to pass on their DNA.
