I was an active movie viewer back then, and I only heard of one of those movies

I have heard of and seen three of them.

I voted for SWTWC (good move, different from the book, but doesn't mean it can't be a good movie) and ROTJ (I was a teenager when I saw it).

Naked (Gun in) Space was horrible. There's nothing like a good parody, and this movie is nothing like a good parody. It had a few good jokes, but did a retread of many of the Naked Gun (really Airplane) decendent jokes, which were retreaded before a few times already.

SWTWC
ROTJ

In that order.

Pretty sure I saw Space Hunters In the Forbidden Zone.
Pretty sure it sucked.

And yes, the novel of SWTWC is far superior to the movie. But then it's by Ray Bradbury, so that should be expected.

The rest I've never even heard of.

Is this poll some quest to prove that 1983 SF movie releases sucked?

Let's hope there's something decent at the end of the alphabet, 'cos I haven't been able to vote for a single one so far.

Wargames, the other contender is coming.

It's either alarming, or reassuring, how many of these I have never even heard of.
Was Netflix around in 1983???

Rock and Rule? The animated film that was in part at least produced in Canada? Debbie Harry in the soundtrack? (Among others.) That is an excellent movie of its type. But I never heard of this alternate title given here. Maybe I missed something. But I've been a fan since the VHS and then DVD days and keep wishing a soundtrack LP would appear, but a fire at the studios (?) might have destroyed all the old master tapes, music and video.

At last a good film – it won't win but Jason Robards and Jonathan Pryce were excellent in Something Wicked This Way Comes

Spacehunter had Molly Ringwald. Her next two movies were probably her best – Sixteen Candles and Breakfast Club.
