Wow, a number of these 'overrated' sour grapes are ones I've never heard of!

The immediate analogy that came to mind is "most overrated jai-alai player as polled by hockey players". Well, they both wave sticks, right? "Curling players rate rhythmic gymnastics. Pole vaulters rate yacht racers."
I've heard of 4 of those rules. I've played a modified version of Piquet once, and hated it. I've told that story here too many times. 🙄
I feel justified in calling it overrated because when it first came out, I bought a copy. That was based on the "press" about it.
So, yeah. This one passes all the tests. 😄

Seems like a lot of these titles are TFL games which don't get much press, in the US anyway. Maybe sour grapes is the right phrase here.

Well…
I bought a Lardies game one time which made a big deal out of "blinds" during play.
But they never bothered to define "blinds".
When I remarked about that here, I was told that I should have been familiar with "blinds" had I bought earlier games. Apparently I came late to the cult.
Please point out the Lardies titles, so I can give them a vote too.
