"Favorite WWII Novel (Round 3)" Topic

Still haven't had to make a decision yet, but was up to 5 to vote for this time. Looks like I will have a choice to make come the final round.

This looks like the final round.

I wonder if people are going off movies or books when they vote. Where eagles dare and guns of navarrone were awesome movies but good novels.
Cross of iron was a good movie but an awesome book.
Twelve o clock high was awesome at both!

Movies and novels are different things.
I voted for novels, rather than entertaining movies.
I only wish that "War and Remembrance" had made it to the finals.

I've read a few of these books, but not watched any movies based on them, so I'm pretty sure I'm voting for the books.

Based on these comments my concerns are unfounded. Let the best books win!
