"Day of the Triffids" became a film in 1963 and two TV series in 1981 and again in 2009. Sure lets do a modern remake. Using all the fancy new special effects.

Not bad. Seven I'd read. Six I thought had potential. "Demolished Man" would be tricky to film, I think. And hasn't The Expanse already been done? (I gave up by the second volume there. Just didn't want to spend any more time with the male lead, who is unpleasant company.)

The whole Riverworld series would be great for TV, but to do it properly there would have to be a six year wait for season 3.
