Anybody but Jim Dunnigan. |

Doesn't matter what we want. What we'll get is whoever has a book to peddle. |

Once again, which Steve Jackson? The Texan or the Brit? Do we get both? Put ‘em on a panel and watch the confusion ensue? |

And several other Steve Jacksons if we can get them, Parzival. And we can round up at least two sculptors named Paul Hicks. This could be the wildest episode of "To Tell the Truth" ever aired, and Little Wars TV could film it. (My son tells me there are two Dr. Kurt Piepenbrinks publishing in biochemistry. Not really a problem I anticipated when he was named.)

I'd be happy to come and not peddle any books :) |

I think an all Steve Jackson panel would probably be hilarious. |

I've been going to conventions for decades, and not once have I ever attended any speakers. Let alone a pompously named "Wargame College". Maybe that's why I can't grasp how superior "simulations" are? |

OFM, if you ever get near an HMGS (Formerly East) convention, attend one or two. They aren't all winners, but I've never seen a Wargame College lineup which didn't have at least one well-informed speaker on a subject which interested me--which is more than I can say for several courses I've attended at accredited colleges and universities. Likewise Hobby University, which must slightly outrank a Wargame College on the Poposity Scale, is always ready to teach me something about painting or terrain-making. But to understand the innate superiority of simulations, I believe you have to read every issue of Historical Miniatures Gamer. I never accomplished the feat myself. |

I just voted for Manley. (And not just because of his campaign promise not to peddle books!) |
