Gunfight At The OK Corral — the song that got Mel Brooks to hire Frankie Lane to write the theme for Blazing Saddles!
Apparently Mel told Frankie he wanted something like OK Corral, but didn't tell him it was going to be a satire movie.

I'm a bit reluctant to vote. I've only seen 7 of the nominees, and even in some of those cases I can't remember the music at all. Query: is it better to be music people remember and don't like, or to be music which they don't even remember? |
