I always eat pizza, even when sleeping. So I assume I would eat pizza while gaming too.

I have never eaten pizza while gaming. No reason why not it just hasn't happened. After all a bacon roll is far preferable and in most venues I attend more available.

If there is food, out side of pretzels, we stop, feed. Then continue.

This is a very strange question. 30+ years of gaming, I thought eating pizza was a compulsory part of the game!

Seems there are two parallel universes of gamers that occasionally intersect in TMP?

First you put the figures away, THEN you eat the pizza. Turn sequence is very important. (And that was not an option on the voting.)

Before or after. Never during.

Game…take a break for pizza…game.

Repeat as needed.

I've had many a "pizza break" in the past, but no, never literally during a game.

nazrat11 Aug 2016 7:37 a.m. PST

WHILE gaming no, but if we're taking a break, pizza can happen.

We usually game in the afternoon though.

Around here food happens before, after, or between games. clean snicks and drinks only when playing and even those not on the table.

Jamesonsafari11 Aug 2016 10:18 a.m. PST

No greasy snacks.
I even get shirty about cheeto dust etc.

Stop – eat – wash hands – game

jtkimmel11 Aug 2016 11:27 a.m. PST

Not at the gaming table, we'll take a break and eat somewhere away from the figures.

Dave Crowell11 Aug 2016 1:11 p.m. PST

Wash hands between pizza and gaming! If you do that, then yes.

Not necessarily pizza. Even the teens and kids that play are "grown ups" (not that the adults are in any other sense) … If you wanna eat, eat. If you wanna touch stuff, don't be a douchebag.

Yesthatphil11 Aug 2016 4:12 p.m. PST

Yep … I'm firmly in the 'take a break' camp … OK – maybe have a piece of chocolate, suck a mint … but otherwise don't eat over the table/figures etc.

At the club, no eating during games – when we have lunch, we walk across the street for a civilized sit-down (plus they have drinks)

When I game at home we sometimes have snacks – but by an large I like the "no eating and gaming" thing

We pause our longer games for dinner often. Then go back to gaming. Never been a problem.

tkdguy14 Aug 2016 11:41 p.m. PST

Taking a break for dinner has often been the cause of a game's early death. I'd rather wait until after the game is done.
