"An American in Paris" should not have been voted out. Also "Help" is considered a classic and is shown in films schools. |

Help, which I have seen, and is *not* shown in film school (you're thinking of A Hard Day's Night, which is shown in film schools), is *not* a musical, though Beetles songs are cleverly used throughout. Again, drama expressed through song is an essential element of a musical. Just because somebody sings, or one likes the soundtrack, or a lot of music gets listened to by the characters, does *not* qualify the movie as a musical. |
