And I'm really showing my age. And nationality.

The Muppet Show was really the only one that existed in my lifetime. And I am by no means young. The polls really show the age here at TMP.

To be fair, many of these old shows have been available for decades--on videotape, then reruns,DVD,and now on line. It might be interesting to know how many votes here are based on memories of the original airings. "Your Show of Shows" for instance, ended in 1954.

I caught a couple of Laugh-In episodes in reruns in the 80's, and remember thinking "THIS is what I considered hilariously funny at age 17?".

Not only hilariously funny (and the talk of every schoolyard at recess, and the supplier of new catch-phrases), but radical and counter-culture and daring for its time. You bet your sweet bippy! The Flying Fickle Finger of Fate! "Verrrrry interestink!"

Muppet Show forever!

Liked Wayne and Schuster but that is a very north of the 49th show

The new Muppet show pales in comparison to the old Muppet show.

I watched the Muppet Show as a kid. I vaguely remember a couple of the others existing. Y'all are old!

Considering the average age here, I suspect the majority.
