The final list is a list of games that I've never seen in a retail store. Super TMP :D

I notice that five of the nine are 20+ years old and four are what I think of as "flavors of the month"--relatively recent and highly publicized. This doesn't necessarily make them bad rules, but there are always hot new rules and very few see a second decade.

It might be interesting to run this poll at intervals of about five years.

TSATF is a very old-fashioned set and while it does what it does ok for its age, it has long been superseded. Its popularity says more about the TMP membership than it does about rules.

It's like a poll that describes the Newbury Fast-Play Napoleonics (1981) as cutting edge.. (or 'fast-play' for that matter).
