It is actually lead salts that are dangerous not elemental lead so much. Also most figures don't contain lead anymore. |

I'm not really concerned about the lead aspect, it's any fine metallic dust*. The gloves are mainly about it being less messy and easier to handle the figure. *Also drywall, masonry, fiberglass, resin, etc.

Well I think that most Miniature Wargamers die other things, so why worry about this. Was using my dremel today ago and just blew the dust/smoke away. I am 59 so what little bit I did suck in might kill me in like 20-25 years from now. |

The chemicals I used at work when I was young will probably be what gets me. Not the dust from my figures. |

I just make sure I wash my hands after and don't eat and work on minis at the same time. |
