Personal hygiene Keeps coming up. Never been an issue in all my years of gaming. What kind of people are you gaming with? Is it the genre your playing? Do Fantasy and Sci-Fi players have this issue? I don't know, I'm just asking. I only play historical and have never run into this issue. I think it is a myth.

Well, I can say I've experienced this issue, and my wife, with a more sensitive nose will back me up, but it's generally been restricted to a few events and occasions and not a general thing (altho' the stereotype lingers because these are not random, unique occurrences).
