I believe the link to the Pre-Poll discussion is in error… |

I voted for the Coast Guard against the Rum Runners. I remember back in the 70s my girfriend dragged me to a movie called "Lucky Lady" with Gene Hackman, Burt Reynolds, and Liza Minelli. I wasn't all that thrilled that it was billed as a "Romantic Comedy", but much to my surprise it was about the rum runners and ended with a rather spectacular naval battle between the runners. :) |

The title is never quite right, Last Conformist, but it does say in the poll "haven't been well served (if at all) in wargaming up to now" and I'll grant you that "Favorite Naval Campaign which hasn't been Well Served (if at all) in Wargaming up to Now" would be a long title. PzGeneral, the link does appear to be wrong, but I went clear through the "TMP Poll Suggestions" and never found the right one. I'm just glad we're on miniatures and getting a break from the RPG poll. |

I would like to see coverage of the Brazilian v Argentine campaigns shortly after independence and the fights over Uruguay/Cisplatine. |
