St Mary's Isle. It's the only one I'm likely to visit.

I loved the Saratoga battlefield. I'd read a book on the battle before visiting it, but I didn't really understand it until I saw the battlefield. Once there, everything suddenly made sense!

So many to chose from. Camden is interesting because it has not been developed. I liked all the forts along the Hudson. Guildford Courthouse is interesting to show the significance of the terrain.

Unfortunately I've only visited Concord, Lexington Green, and Breed's (AKA Bunker) Hill.

The Wyoming Massacre is now a Little League baseball field, although I don't think they realize it.

I am curious what they mean by best battlefield. Best perserved? Best interpretation of the battle? Or just favorite battle?

Hubbarton and Cowpens are best preserved I have visited. Brandywine the most prepared guides and interpretive materiala.

How about asking; which battlefield you would like to visit?

Very few people have been to every one of them.
