Had four Cobras hovering over the artillery battery I was in during Desert Storm. We had one gun firing direct fire north and seven firing indirect fire south. An Iraqi battalion sized tank attack came our way. Two Cobras had TOWs and two had rocket pods. They fired everything including their 20mm. When they left thy were completely slick. They drove the counter attack off and saved our hides. I vote TOW. |
