"Other"

I've only played "Pirates of the Spanish Main." Can't remember what I thought of the game play (so probably neither good nor bad), but I hated the collectible part with "rare" ships. Wrong audience for that, WizKids. Which is probably why it flopped and disappeared from the market.

I have heard many good things about Man O' War from GW, but it's OOP. I found a digital copy of the rules years ago (I understood them to be legit), but I haven't played them, so I don't know if they match people's claims. Don't recall the source of the PDF.

So I *might* like those rules, but I don't know.

The rest I've heard of but never played.

MoW started fine but I recall became a bit unbalanced when you added flyers. But we had some great games at the NWS in Mortimer, run by the late Geoff Crane

GW used to have free downloads of the rules for some of their older games on their website; I'm not sure if Man-O'-War used to be one of them, but it'd make sense.

I played a bit of it long ago. Maybe I'll play again in the nearish future, as a local guy is talking about 3Dprinting proxies.
