We usually bring sarnies to long games so tend to play through meal times. |

As long as it times out right, it is nice to have such an intermission in a long game. |

Depends on the game, really. I'd rather not take a dinner break, but some games run long and make it necessary. |

I took a dinner break once when I was clearly winning the game. Came back and resumed only to suffer a great defeat. Never again will take a break. |

Unless it is a long game or we got late start, I would prefer just to push through and finish the game. |

Other depends on how much is left, how the game is going, how late it is, etc. |

When I host we almost always take a meal break, keeping it to a reasonable short time frame so we can complete the gaming. For me gaming is more about social than the competition aspect. Everyone plays to win but that is a far second to having fun – and enjoying a good meal. |

We don't game that late! We do take lunch breaks and they have not resulted in too many game enders |

Sometimes we get together after dinner sometimes before. Never had dinner kill the game once started. |

We all go to the same place to eat in one or two cars so I know they are coming back. Most of the time we order pizza and keep playing. In my younger days we gamed one day a month for ten straight hours. We ordered pizza for lunch. For dinner we all went to a local sports bar. Had a great meal and a few beers. Then we came back and got right back to it. Eating out together was part of the fun. I had to move for a job. The guys in this town don't like to game anywhere near that long. They game once a week, for just a few hours. Although there are a few us who will game 8 hours or so. A three hour game is hardly worth setting up the terrain for. |
