I voted none, because I've played many of these battles, and had fun. The Alamo? My most fun game, as Texans or Mexicans!

My general rule is that you avoid the ones with few decisions. Hopeless is OK. Stand right here and roll high not so much.

Actually most of these could be great games – we have done the Teuburger Wald a couple of times, and the rascally Germans don't always win

I would love to game Kirchholm – just under 4,000 angry Poles putting the boot to just over 10,000 Swedes – gotta love those Winged Hussars!

Only voted for 1 – Dardanelles. We tried this with the aim of it being a show game, and found it to be pretty much impossible to get anywhere. Unfortunately we had built the terrain before trying the game, still it ended up in a museum and we learnt a valuable lesson, so no big loss. I think you could make something out of the others, even if only to see how much better or worse you did against history.

I have done Carrahe and that's not much fun for the Romans, especially if they have lost their allied cavalry.

I'm surprised that Gettysburg didn't make this poll. After the 1st day well…there's nothing else much left to to than "Lets make stupid attacks on the big hill with the enemy troops dug in on it…"
