Mostly, very sketchy. In fact, about enough to support the troop rosters. But traditional SF Mars--call it Barsoom--fascinates me, and I'm continually trying to make pieces from a dozen or more authors blend into a consistent whole.

You've got it bad when you start trying to work out where Barrakesh is relative to Gathol and Helium, and whether Lakkdarol is really the same place as Drywater.

Fairly detailed – I have a complete OOB for the regular army, have worked out the trade, politics and history of the ruling family and their neighbours

Right now I am working through painting up the army
