Definitely need Soviets in sci-fi space — then the aliens can just be aliens! Haven't you seen any of the old movies? It's hard being Soviet Alien menaces all the time ^,^ |

Some analysts pose a POSSIBILITY of a new "USSR" arising. Might make a good timeline for SF. |

Why go with the second string when you can have space Nazis. Just as evil with better uniforms. |

You need Space Soviets to counter Space Nazis-Kursk Crater battle on the dark side of the Moon alone! Besides, note the differences from other space genres- CapitalistOppressors(yes, it's ONE word) will force space colonists to pay for air. The People's Collective Science & Resource Allocation Communes do not. Air usage is determined by Workers' output, guided by Commune Economic Engineers and supervised by State Commissars. Capitalist Economic and Exploitation Organisations-running dog lackeys of Wall Street- will Mine and dominate their so-called 'free market' at the expense of their over-taxed working class. Our Glorious Socialist Mining Districts will allocate all resources equally with our Socialist Brothers and Sisters after the needs of the Rodina are met. Our Soyez Stormbirds and NKVD Orbital Platforms will ensure equitable access to all LaGrange Points, eliminating western provacateur satellites and other threats. The Moscow Mars Militia will continue to free slave workers of western corporate criminals that profit from their labor. The degenerate remnates of the Hitlerite Regime will be swept from the Darkside Of The Moon by our Ever-Glorious Lunar Gurds Tank and Mechanised Corps!!!! go to althist.com-look up Speculative armored fighting vehicles and look at the off world afv's they do. |

Lots of good scenarios there, with Americans (assuming we can ever get back into space again, on our own), Russians, Chinese, Iranians, Mega-Corps, etc. 15mm would be a good choice, since there are a number of different styles of Vacc Suits from various manufacturers to differentiate the factions. Of course, you could just paint them different colors, instead. Alas, none as lovely as that nice looking female cosmonaut pictured above. I think the selection is less wide in 25mm/28mm, but there are probably still a few options from various manufacturers. |

As red as I am, I don't actually tend to, though I've had militant labour unions fighting mega-corporate security contractors, which can make for some great low-level campaigning. |

I think that is a telepathic plea for help, since the dog knows how those chimps fared in spaceflight, decades ago. Cool spacesuit by the way. |

In the grim, dark future my Russians in Space fight against my Soviets in Space, just like my grandpa did back in the day. How should I vote? |

. . . my Russians in Space fight against my Soviets in Space, just like my grandpa did back in the day. It's the same in the Tomorrow's War setting. Cool, huh? ;) Best, Shawn. |
