I really only do coastal actions now. The fleet engagements were rare. The two rules I use are narrow Seas and coastal patrol found in a too fat lardie special. Both are relatively quick play which fits for coastal actions. Joe |

As noted by Joe above – coastal actions Narrow Seas and Coastal Patrol. I run Coastal Patrol at HMGS conventions. Better than Cruel Seas because it assumes coastal actions were at night which they mostly were. |

Nimitz is a Sam Mustafa creation. Much is abstract, but it allows you to fight surface and carrier actions in a clear and not too complex system that has renewed my interest in the period. Just the right balance of detail. Not too long to play, and a lot of fun. |
