We seem to be missing a couple of things, like the phrasing of the question, "based on this pre-poll discussion" and a certain big summer convention put on by HMGS (formerly) East. |

Fall-In! and (hopefully resurrected) Cold Wars have exactly the same vibe as Historicon (since they are run by the same folks) but one day shorter. |

Alas, Millennium has been cancelled this year because the Waco Wingate Hotel, where it's been held for years, demanded an exorbitant raise for booking. I attended all but 2 or 3 & ran a game or 2 at most of them. Hopefully, next year's MilliCon will be held in Temple, Texas, which a little further north of Waco on the same highway. |

I'd so-so agree, Scott. All three feel the same when held in the same facility--and, for that matter, in the same era. But an early Fall In at the Ike was not a late Cold Wars at the Host. |

Unless you are a board or card gamer, I couldn't recommend Origins. Add role-playing and cos-play and the same goes for GenCon. |
