I here was me thinking that the "What is your favorite dried fruit?" poll was the most useless poll I had ever seen.

How can you say that. This is like the most wargame related poll in months.

Cop/construction worker: modern pulp gangster skirmish game.
Indian: various wars in America from 17th century to late 19th century.
Seaman:WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam!

Skeets,

I have to agree with you. And how is a Viking raid not wargaming related?

I was at my local Lowes Home Improvement store in Jacksonville, NC one weekday evening last fall. It was just before closing and the store only had a few customers at the time. Looking down the row of end caps there were three off duty Marines at three different end caps and they did not appear to be together in fact I'm sure of it. The piped in music started to play YMCA at which time each of the Marines started to tap their feet to the music while still looking at the various products they had been looking at. When the refrain came on they each started making the arm gestures and shuffling to the music. It couldn't have been better than if it had been planned. This went on for a minute or two before they noticed what they were doing and that there were other people around. Each went their own way with a sheepish grin. I still chuckle over it if ever I hear that song.
