Not bad. I've read ten off this list, and am actually having to choose, there being seven or so I think might actually work. You know, it's interesting to watch the continued long-term influence of television on streaming. No reason at all a streaming series couldn't be a half hour episode followed by something the length of a feature film, and several examples here would lend themselves to that. But the streaming people are still sticking to the (relatively) uniform chunks required by broadcast TV. You see some similar carryovers at the scroll-codex, manuscript/typeset and paper/e-reader conversions. Going by the usual adaptation times, I won't live to see them get past this one. |

Even without the legacy of broadcast schedules, I figure there's an intrinsic merit in keeping to similarly long installments of streaming series, for similar reasons that chapters within a book tend to be of approximately the same length. (But of course some books have chapters of wildly inequal length, and I shall not be surprised if the equivalent becomes more common in series.) |

"I am Legend" has already been done, several times. Why not do it again? 🙄 I remember reading it the first time, and the bitter acknowledgement of the title in its very last line. I've never seen any of the movies that came anyway near that ironic ending. It's the key, and they all missed it. |

There's one entry there that I refused to read. I met the author, and he was a complete ass. So I deprived him of $.15 USD royalties! |

Your call, OFM. But think of all the good books on your shelves written by people you've never met. I bet a high percentage were or are equally unacceptable. |

Finally, some books I have read. Loved the Janissaries series. |
