no, but only because I don't focus on that sort of gaming. |

For GASLIGHT, I took the WFB Birdmen of Catrazza and glued ACW Zouaves under them. I added strange jewelry to the top to look like steam (of course!) propulsion. Their main useful feature was that they drew fire away from other friendly units. |

Yep. Dwarf gyrocopters for Warmaster. Fun units! |

Nope, no technological flyers among my fantasy forces. There's a couple dragons, a winged humanoid, and a few ghosts, who more-or-less fly but presumably count as magic. |

GW's Man O War — squadrons of gyrocopters and balloons, as well as eagles and dragons and whatever else can fly. |

I took a bunch of my Caesar 1/72 scale Goblins, hurling Molotov Cocktails, and I cut them from their bases. I took Schleich Fruit Bat toy figures, mounted them to 50mm square bases, using large pins, Hot Glued to the base. I bent the pin's pointy end, to skewer the Bats in their bellies (plastic bats cannot feel pain, so no harm, no foul). I notched the necks of the Bats to allow the Goblin's legs to fit around it, gluing them into place. Folder of images here. Now I have Goblin Bat Cavalry hurling fire bombs. They're not terribly effective in game terms, but the visuals are spectacular. Cheers! |

Get back to me when aerial units don't require poles running down to the tabletop or lines hanging from the ceiling. |

They aren't poles! It's brass tubing! |

Like Parzival and miniMo said, you can never have too many Dwarf gyrocopters |

I use barbecue skewers made of bamboo: inexpensive, versatile, easy to cut, they take all glues and paints very well. Cheers! |
