"Favorite Boardgame With Lots of Miniatures (Round 2A)" Topic

Dang, this is a tough round. I like way more than 5, but not all (haven't played some). Had to choose between some great games, and some of my cuts were really ties for fifth place.

I know the next round will have more of my faves.

The final round is gonna be a real struggle!

Loved Battle Masters, but mostly for the figs which I use for table top gaming – best, cheapest knights ever; sad that is it out of production but you can buy it on eBay for a ridiculous price

Still have my set, which I played with my son when he was a boy. Will never sell it, for that reason alone.

I bought two full sets of BattleMasters, off e-Bay, when they were affordable. I bought some supplemental figures from e-Bay sellers, as well, to build bigger units for my 2e BattleSystem mass fantasy games. They were fantastic figure sculpts, very affordable, 20 years ago.

My favorite figures were the Goblin Wolf Riders. I had quite a few of them. I sold most of my BattleMasters figures off, in an attempt to support a charity, which resulted in my buying replacement figures, later. No regrets, but I do miss those Goblin Wolf Riders, to this day.

I still have some BattleMasters figures in my armies, though. I have too many heavy cavalry in my Human armies, but I can't part with them. LOL! Cheers!

I have all expansions. Going to start another new campaign for a couple of friends who have never played. (Was to start last week, but everyone in our house got covid again. 4th time for me, but never been a big deal. Yeah, tmi, I know.)

Clearly guys who are not modern hobby board gamers picked these lists! Which I would assume is most of TMP. ;-)
