A bit pedantic but,
Is Josey Wales really a ACW movie?
I mean it's more like a western/action movie with a bit of ACW theme.

Outlaw Josey Wales: "A Missouri farmer joins a Confederate guerrilla unit and winds up on the run from the Union soldiers who murdered his family." https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075029

Yes, an ACW theme, now an ACW movie,

I've never even heard of most of these movies.

"Ironclads" was awful. Typically, a perfectly serviceable historical narrative gets tossed for hackneyed soap-operatic drivel. I was so excited for it when it aired- ah, to be young and innocent again!
And, Josey Wales rocks hard.

Josey Wales starts in the ACW but doesn't end there. And it's easily one of the best movies Eastwood ever made. Yes, even Unforgiven.

I am quite surprised neither of these movies made the list:
Friendly Persuasion – 1956 – Gary Cooper, Anthony Perkins
Alvarez Kelly – 1966 William Holden, Richard Widmark
I really love "Friendly Persuasion" and consider it an excellent film, and I think Kelly is very entertaining, but I am sure others would not find these in their top 5 Civil War movie list.
