Li Mao (born 1986) is a Chinese actor and singer, best known as a former member of the C-pop boy band Top Combine (至上励合). He was with the group from its debut in 2008 until his departure in 2012.

Time with Top Combine

Role: He was the lead dancer and a rapper for the group.

Success: During his tenure, Top Combine became one of the most famous male idol groups in Mainland China, particularly known for their hit song "Cotton Candy" (棉花糖).

Name: Li Mao was given the English stage name Caesar. When the group was formed, each of the five members was assigned a specific English stage name to broaden their international appeal, reflecting a certain "vibe" or persona.

Departure: In September 2012, Li Mao officially announced his departure from the group to focus on his acting career. Unlike many dramatic "boy band breakups," his exit was generally described as a mutual decision to pursue individual growth, though he has occasionally reunited with members for social media posts or events in the years since.

Acting Career

After leaving the group, he transitioned fully into television and film. He has appeared in several popular Chinese dramas, including:

The Wife's Lies (2015)
The Lover's Lies (2016)
The Legend of Zu (2015)

Personal Life

Marriage: He is married to fellow Chinese singer and actress Xian Zi (弦子). The couple married in 2016 and have a son together. They are often cited as a "model couple" in the Chinese entertainment industry.
