Depends. A wood full of Ewoks and Wookiees looks much like a woods filled with Halflings or Overmountain men. (I do pick up a few size humongous trees when I find them, but they also work for North America.) Same story with deserts and the sand on the feet of Jawas is no different from that beneath the Afrika Korps. (I have fooled around with a redder mix for Barsoom, but I've been having my doubts lately.)

Cities, spaceships and space stations are another matter: usually quite distinct, though I'll concede some overlap between fantasy interiors and SF of the Brackett, Burroughs and Moore variety, and of course my dungeon and sewers go everywhere.

I have a set up where plant life has it's leaf equivalents done in reds/purples and come in strange shapes and line of tiles (I use Hexon) with transition purples to green as my terraforming limits. I think its pretty exotic. so I'm voting high (9)

The only "sci-fi" I ever ran was GASLIGHT games.
Not much need for special terrain. 🤷
