F&IW Brits serve just fine in the AWI and vice versa, my ACW troops are good for any year in any theater, my WWII Germans are good from 1939 through 1945, etc.

Yeah. No desire here to build a fresh British army because they gave up on wearing stocks or went from white to grey pants. I'm tempted to make an exception for 1806 vs 1812 Prussians. But really, since I'm doing this in microscale, maybe I should just add a few fusiliers to my SYW Prussians for 1806 and call it a win.

If I played Ancients, my Roman army would be wearing Lorica segmentata, and they would only fight Alexandrian Macedonian Phalangites.

My 6mm Napoleonic Austrians in helmets are good to go for any battle from 1798 to 1815

My plastic Army Men have no country, no nation, no rank insignia. They're just the Green's, the Tan's, and the Gray's. They fight for me, without complaint, without issue. And I love them for it. >;-)

There is nothing historical about them. They are mindless, spirit-less, inanimate toys which I thoroughly enjoy gaming with, every chance I get, which is not nearly as often as I would like. Cheers!

In my defence, most of my 6mm forces are wearing visors, gas masks, safety goggles or full vacuum suit helmets, so eyes are not so much an issue.

This is the one poll that needed more than five choices.

Two things can be true. I have generic AWI Loyalist Militia, because you need them. I also have all the famous specific Loyalist units such as the Queen's Rangers, New York Volunteers, British Legion, Kings American Regiment etc.

I thought of another one. Do you use your Napoleonic French Cavalry in your Franco-Prussian War games? I don't but I have thought about doing it the other way around.
