I have used a rapidograph pen for outlining or getting details on 15mm figures – though not as often as I should

I use an old-fashioned steel nib pen for detail work. Not a pencil for anything (painting wise, that is)

I've used them before painting to lightly mark outlines for camouflage patterns on vehicles.

I have used fine markers to do tattoos.
