Which is why super glue is always in my Con-Kit. I've been fortunate enough to never have anything stolen.

Yes. While running a game of All Quiet / Martian Front I had a teenage player who I will call "overenthusiastic". He was playing Humans and at one point got excited that he would get to make a move (not sure why he was excited). He then tripped and fell onto the table totally destroying a Tripod miniature. Crushed it into a number of pieces. We played with an empty base on the table…

He was apologetic enough that he was forgiven was a stern "Dude, relax…" The miniature was repaired later at home, but it is still kinda wonky….

Not as a host, but at an SF/F con in Tuscaloosa in 1990 somebody stole my AD&D Monster Manual (1e). Kinda cheesed me.

Gaming involves a bit of wear and tear on the miniatures. It is the nature of the hobby.

Agreed, Fitzovich. But it should not involve castings disappearing.

Someone made off with one of my nWoD dice once, maybe fifteen years ago. Still slightly bugged about it, because it's not easily replaceable.

No theft, but some minis broken. All repairable, except for the one base that somehow jumped off the table and was stepped on by a large fellow.

Never hosted a con game but at the local gaming club nothing gets lifted but especially for medieval a lot of spears/shields seem to come off -enough that I have my SuperGlue to hand at all times

Kind of a multi-part poll question here. Should have a poll for broken, etc and a separate poll for stolen.
