I don't normally, but when we were renovating the kitchen last year we did put one there, for lack of anywhere more sensible. |

Once more for the slow learners: no, I DO NOT play computer games or have a space for them, and if I feel an urge to microwave anything--probably cold dice--in the middle of the game, I have to walk all the way to the kitchen. Could be as much as 20-25 feet. Oh, the humanity! |

Given that the gaming space is the house, the yard, the Metro, various game shops and pubs around the city, the car, in line at various government offices, and non-government medical facilities … yes, that aggregate contains several accessible microwaves. I DO NOT play computer games or have a space for them, Skipping the bit where it is extremely unlikely that you have internet access in the 21st century, let alone in a first-world country, without digital storage, there are (virtual) tons of computer games that require zero space beyond your connection and browser. And no dearth of non-real-time strategic and operational level wargames. |

My computer is not in the room that I play miniatures in. I don't play computer games. I live in a modest house, so my microwave is in an adjacent room, which I refer to as the kitchen. |

I play at the kitchen table. There is a microwave in the kitchen. So, yes, but not by intent for gaming snacks. I really don't play computer games much anymore. Modern computer games bore me. |

I simply do not understand why you would need a microwave near the gaming area. And I also do not play computer games. I do not have enough time to waste other than sleep. |

I don't play computer games either. I play in teh living room and the microwave is in teh kitchen. So near enough at hand. |

Nope. I also do not play computer games since "Grandest Fleet" went belly up for me. My gaming space is in the basement and my knees are too old to run up and back. Actually I haven't hosted games in a good while so it is irrelevant. |

We have a small office in the basement where we paint and watch tv and my dad has his computer. There are a fridge and a microwave in the painting area. The gaming area is on the other side of the door, so technically not in the gaming area but within a couple of feet. |

eto, you must read all the words. I did not say "I do not have space for computer games." I said "I do not have A space for computer games" since this entire conversation revolves around dedicated gaming spaces. |

I don't play computer games. So there! |

For the office, I have a fridge. My wonderful wife wants me to have a microwave up here also. I currently have a fridge, microwave, and burner in my gaming room basement. I'm getting a three pot slow cooker and warmer, and an ice machine, in the future, (I need another wine rack too). Sometimes I wonder if she is trying to move me permanently down to the basement. Hmmm…. |

Rarely play computer games and then it is on iPad so it moves around Our miniatures gaming room is adjacent to the kitchen, which has a microwave but I cannot recall at any time using it during a game |
