"Are You a Space Gamer?" Topic

I have to choose other.

I have played spacecraft games in the past. I'm not adverse to playing spacecraft games in the future. I own a few spacecraft games. But for some reason, they never hit the table.

But they are ready and willing to go.

I'm not only a space gamer, I write my own rules. (Five times now, plus a half-done project I abandoned.)
GOBS! (Generic Outlandishly Big Spacefleets!)
Star Captain (current WIP)
Starcrusher (basically a one-page Ogre variant, IN SPAAAAACCCCEEEE!)
Dark Frontier (hex-and-chit game set in the near future, never released)
Galactic Conquest (sort of a Risk in space, but not using Risk rules. Never released.)

I have tried but stopped for the same reason I don't do naval wargaming. I hate filling out all the ship information. Sucj a pain.

I once played games involving Babylon 5 fleets but opponents faded after the closing of our FLGS.

Ah, Shagnasty, those were the golden days of our local gaming. Everyone seems to have scattered after that. Did you get to see or try Portsmith Games new space game at Millenium last fall?

I love spaceship games. I do not have as many as Parzival, but I will keep collecting. Also forcing my friends to play them!
