Good set of choices – Prince Henry of Brunswick gets one of my votes as despite usually getting the left-overs for troops he never lost a battle; plus he was a shrewd negotiator

Also Clive and Wolfe; after all, if you influence the fate of a continent you deserve at least an honourable mention!

Another worthy of consideration is Schaumbourg-Lippe. In Portugal he was in that very difficult position where he could always lose the war (and the country) in an afternoon whereas his enemy could be beaten every day but still be there in the morning…
